It’s been an action packed week in our little nook of New Jersey. The Princeton University Women’s Basketball Team both captivated and filled us with pride as they steamrolled their way into the Women’s NCAA Tournament. They were the 15th team in history to enter the tournament undefeated, distinguishing them as both academic AND athletic powerhouses. We also just learned that Head Coach Banghart was recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the World’s Greatest Leaders. We can’t wait to see you bring it again next year, Tigers!
Princeton University’s own, John Nash, was awarded the 2015 Abel Prize by the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters for his work in the basic laws of scientific phenomena. Receiving this high honor, in some circles, is comparable to winning the Nobel Prize… in Mathematics. Congratulations on another accolade in your incredible career!
The McCarter Theater premiered ‘Baskerville’, a wacky twist on Sherlock Holmes, last weekend. This family friendly, light hearted, and humorous production scored rave reviews with critics and audiences alike. Curtains close on April 29th, so make sure you book your seats soon!
The Princeton Environmental Film Festival has had a great run at the Princeton Library — and continues through to the end of the weekend with eyebrow raising work created by a score talented filmmakers.
And, congratulations to Princeton High School for being ranked among the top 15 public schools in New Jersey by Niche.com. Keep up the good work!
