New Spring/Summer menus and patio opening

The Tap Room Patio reopens today (Mother Nature permitting)!
This is the second year the patio will be open and the Yankee Doodle Tap Room is excited to offer our guests some new happenings!
We are now hosting nightly events on the patio each week throughout the spring and summer months. Here is just a quick preview of what is to come.

Mondays are now Margarita Mondays on the Patio featuring $4.00 Margaritas between 4:00pm and 9:00pm.

Tuesdays (selected dates) we introduce the Meet the Brewers Series. We have invited brewers from various breweries around the world to showcase their craft and offer samples for tasting.

Wednesdays will be BBQ Night on the Patio. A chef’s choice of BBQ specials will be available to our guests directly off the grill.

In addition to these events, we are introducing a new Spring/Summer menu with new items and returning favorites. We are also delighted to offer four additional taps to the bar, giving us a total of 16 draft beers, the most draft beers available in Princeton!

The chef and his staff at the YDTR are very excited about some of the new items on our Spring/Summer menu. Both the lunch & dinner menus feature a variety of new appetizers, salads, paninis, sandwiches, and entrees with a lighter and healthier fare in these warm months.

Here are just few sample items on the new menu complete with pairings with wine & draft beer.
- Summer Steak Salad: Fresh Steak cooked to desired temperature with a Romaine mix, Corn, Tomatoes, Maytag Bleu Cheese, & Onion Straws tossed in a Buttermilk Peppercorn dressing.
Pairing:
Wine: Saintsbury Carneros Pinot Noir
Beer: Chimay Tripel, River Horse Lager

- Crab, Crayfish and Brie Panini: A salad consisting of Crab, Crayfish, Celery and Onion; topped with Brie Cheese and served on Sourdough with French Fries, Cole Slaw and a Pickle
Pairing:
Wine: Louis Latour Chablis
Beer: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Stella Artois

- Bourbon Street Steak: A 12 oz New York Strip Steak cooked to desired temperature, with Roasted Garlic Mashed Yukon Potatoes, Asparagus, a Brown Sugar Bourbon Sauce, and topped with Onion Straws
Pairing:
Wine: BV Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Beer: Yuengling Lager, Sam Adams Boston Lager

- Sesame Tuna: A Sesame Crusted Tuna Steak cooked to desired temperature with Wild Rice Pilaf and Snipped Beans, then topped with Ginger Mustard Sauce, Pickled Ginger and a Soy Drizzle
Pairing:
Wine: Mason Sauvignon Blanc
Beer: Chimay Tripel, Stella Artois, Sam Adams Summer
