On May 9th, straight from Chippewa Falls, WI; we will be experiencing the finest beers they have to offer. Oskar Blues Brewery has a very interesting selection of beers they will be bringing to our patio. Of my favorites is their famous Dale’s Pale ale. Besides being an America’s first canned craft beer, Dale’s Pale Ale taste delicious. Oskar Blues accomplished recipes well proportioned in flavor consisting of pale malts and hops. I will warn you now this beer is not for everyone but it is sure worth finding out. Oskar Blues Brewing Company is coming May 9th so brace yourselves.
Sly Fox brewery is creeping in from our backyard. Pheonixville, Pennsylvania is proud to present a new craft brewery. In 2012 the Giannopolis family opened up the doors to the Sly Fox brew house and eatery. Their Pikeland pils won two gold and one bronze medals at the American Beer Festival. Light in body and dry, it is a perfect beverage for a hot summer day. Sly Fox will be peeking its head in on May 15th.
We also will be having more Yankee Doodle favorites coming your way all summer long. We will also have the breweries’ ambassadors visiting and engaging in some stimulating beer conversations. For four dollars a pint these tastings will be hard to pass up. Along with the breweries I discussed we will also be hosting:
May 23rd-River Horse
Stay posted for more Yankee Doodling in June. Until next time.
